2 Collected Data
As part of the use of the Application, Kidmemo may collect the following categories of data:
- Account data: email address, encrypted password
- Profile data: user's first name, profile photo (optional)
- Data related to children: first name, gender, date of birth or expected date of birth, avatar or profile photo (optional)
- Content data (memories): texts, photos, videos
- Tracking data: growth information, appointments, vaccinations, treatments, and other information voluntarily entered by the user
- Technical data: connection logs, technical identifiers, navigation data in the application
Data is collected exclusively for personal and family use, without commercial exploitation of user profiles. This data may be used for security, technical diagnostic, and service improvement purposes.
3 Purposes of Processing
Data is collected and processed for the following purposes:
- Provide the main features of the Application (memory journal, child tracking)
- Allow the storage and organization of content
- Allow sharing of content between authorized users
- Ensure security and prevention of abuse
- Improve the stability and performance of the Application
- Ensure user support
- Analyze the use of the application to improve user experience and proposed features.
These analyses are mainly based on aggregated data. In some cases, technical identifiers may be used temporarily to better understand the use of the service, especially in the test or improvement phase.
4 Legal Basis for Processing
Processing is based on:
- The execution of the contract (use of the Application)
- The user's explicit consent for sensitive data, notably health-related data
- Kidmemo's legitimate interest in security and service improvement
5 Health Data
The Application allows the user to enter information related to the child's health. This data is provided voluntarily by the user and remains under their full responsibility. Kidmemo does not perform any medical processing, provide any medical diagnosis, or formulate any medical recommendation.
6 Data Recipients
Data is accessible only to:
- The user
- People with whom the user chooses to share their content
- Technical providers necessary for the operation of the Application
Kidmemo does not sell, rent, or market any personal data.
7 Hosting and Security
Data is hosted by secure providers (notably Firebase / Google Cloud Platform). Security measures include encryption in transit, strict access control, and monitoring of technical logs.
8 Retention Period
Data is kept as long as the user account is active. If the account is deleted, the data is deleted within a reasonable time, except for legal obligations or technical constraints requiring limited retention.
9 User Rights

The user is solely responsible for the access they grant and the data they choose to share with third parties.

The Application can send notifications related to the use of the service. The user can deactivate these notifications at any time from their device or Application settings.

Kidmemo implements reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data. However, no system is completely secure and the user is invited to adopt additional security measures.
14 Cookies and Tracking Data
The Application uses technical identifiers and tracking tools strictly necessary for the proper operation of the service and performance analysis. No advertising profiling is performed from users' personal data.
15 Evolution of the Privacy Policy
This policy may be modified at any time. In case of significant modification, users will be informed in the Application.
